MORE THAN POSTERS
This booklet is an insight into what different types of creatives thought the purpose of design is and what they believe it should fulfill based on their experiences. I interviewed both professionals and students who are involved in design and asked them the same three questions:
What do you believe the purpose of design is?
What is your definition of good design?
What do you think design should avoid?
I chose these questions because I wanted to express how design must do more than posters, more than deliverables, and must further curate an experience.
I formulated the visuals to match the responses and tried to include what mattered most to each interviewee. For example for the first spread, the interviewee emphasized how important the audience is, so the main graphic is the audience of shapes.
