Gaining insight into the whole
“Gaining Insight into the Whole” is a cumulative booklet showcasing my unique design process on three projects created over five months.
This saddle-stitch book experiments with the composition of thumbnails, drafts, and final iterations through scale, typefaces, and chaotic usage of hierarchy. Despite this, I hoped to showcase a sense of coherence in all my finalized projects!

The visual story unfolds through synthesizing the interview findings into distinct typographical and visual metaphors. The focus was on developing abstract patterns from the content gathered.

I made a 22x28-inch poster to express a question that I would like to solve through my work. I used a combination of imagery created by exploring techniques and methods such as photography, textures, xerography, collage, and unconventional materials.

CORALOVE is a group project where we designed the brand of a non-profit organization. We created a content map, its visual identity, its online appearance, an artifact, and a ripple story graphic that illustrates how we spread awareness about the impact of water and coral reefs over time. Although every team member played a role in each task, I was the artifact specialist and created a coral reef-themed playground to encourage youth to educate themselves about its significance.
